You can set what happens when a user which doesn't have the permission to use the app tries to login.
To edit the message displayed, you can edit the phrase forumapps_you_are_not_allowed_to_access_the_app
If you want the user to go to the sponsors page or any other particular page, you can set the URL in the ForumApps options in your XenForo Admin Area.
